Hotel & Travel Information
- Guestroom cancellation policy is 24 hours prior to arrival.
- Late checkout fees will apply for rooms vacated after 1 pm (half-day charge) and after 3 pm (one night's room & tax charge).
- Group rates will be provided 3 days before and 3 days after the meeting based on availability.
- MCA guests will receive complementary wireless Internet access in guest rooms.
MCA has negotiated a special room rate of $199 single/double, plus applicable taxes. To receive the conference rate, mention the MCA Semi-Annual Meeting or MCA's group code (MCA0613) and make your reservation before May 24, 2013. After the cut-off date, reservations will be accepted on a space-available basis.
The Umstead Hotel is the host hotel for the MCA 2013 Semi-Annual Meeting. Your support of MCA by securing your reservation at the host hotel is greatly appreciated.

Ground Transportation
The Umstead Hotel is located one exit off of Interstate 40 and 5 minutes from the Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU).
- Taxi – Typical rates are approximately $20 (plus tip) one way from the airport to the hotel.
- Town Car – $25 to airport, $35 from airport; charge can be placed directly on hotel bill. Advance reservations are required. Call The Umstead's concierge desk at 919.447.4030.
- Parking – Complimentary overnight self parking for all registered guests is available. Overnight valet parking is also available at $14 per vehicle.
- Rental Car – Avis is offering attendees discounted car-rental rates. Contact Avis at 800.331.1600 or reserve online at www.avis.com. Provide MCA's Avis Worldwide Discount number J901121 when making your reservation.

From Durham or points West, including RDU Airport, take I-40 East toward Raleigh. Take Exit 287; then turn right onto North Harrison Avenue. At your first traffic light, turn left onto SAS Campus Drive. The Umstead Hotel and Spa, at 100 Woodland Pond Drive, is the first road on your left.
From Raleigh or points East, take I-40 West toward Durham/Chapel Hill. Take Exit 287; then turn left onto North Harrison Avenue. At your second traffic light, turn left onto SAS Campus Drive. The Umstead Hotel and Spa, at 100 Woodland Pond Drive, is the first road on your left.
